What to expect
Welcome to Sunday Slowdown, 2 hour Restorative Yoga classes held once a month in the beautiful Sussex countryside, to give yourself time to rest and recalibrate.
Someone once described Restorative Yoga to me by likening it to a baby being held in it's parents arms, and feeling so safe and secure that they are able to completely relax. The classes will be inspired by the cues that nature gives us, and the props and the environment create that feeling of safety, so that your body and mind are able to rest and recharge. Each class will include 3 to 5 postures, fully supported so that there is no effort needed by your muscles. More rejuvenating than a nap!
The society that we live in champions always needing to achieve more, and considers resting to equal laziness. Therefore, choosing to rest is a radical act, and honours rather than ignores the natural need of the body to rest.

Pickeridge Farm Studio is a new, purpose built studio, and is a wonderfully secluded hidden gem. It offers a unique opportunity to escape without having to travel far from home. Access is via an outdoor staircase, and the studio offers stunning views over the Sussex countryside.

Pickeridge Farm is a small diversified family farm and is situated between the villages of Ardingly and West Hoathly, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex.
I can't wait to share the gifts of Restorative Yoga with you, and this special, tucked away location.
