What to expect
A gentle and nourishing class where the focus is you. It will help you connect back with yourself after pregnancy and birth, as well as connecting with other parents, regain strength, release tension and ease anxiety.
The classes begin with deep breathing, using the breath to create a safe space for yourself by soothing the nervous system. Gentle embodied movement and poses (asana) also help soothe and stretch common tight places within the postnatal body, and also give the much needed opportunity to explore what your body needs. Each class ends in a cuddle and a lie down, supported by props, blankets and relaxing music.
After the practice take the time to connect with other parents over tea and biscuits.
Suitable for parents and carers with babies aged 6 weeks from a vaginal birth, or 10 weeks post c-section, forceps or 4th degree tear, until just before crawling.
Please bring a yoga mat and a blanket for your baby to lie on.
Places are limited to a maximum of 6 people with babies, so that you each get the attention you deserve.
If the cost is prohibitive, please do get in touch so that you can still enjoy the class.
