Although I had done yoga for many years, it was after the birth of my son in 2012 that I really began to use yoga to support me in my daily life, takings ideas and philosophy off of the mat and out in to the world.
My son and I did Mother & Baby classes together, and after a tricky birth these really helped us to bond. As my son grew older, my yoga practice became a way of reconnecting with myself and to support me on my journey of motherhood. Pregnancy Yoga classes gave me some precious time to myself and my growing bump when I was expecting my daughter in 2016.
When my daughter started school, and amidst the global pandemic in 2021, I completed my 200hrs Yoga Teacher Training with Tanja Mickwitz and the Rasa Yoga School, which honours both the roots of yoga and the fact that yoga is for everyone.

In 2022 I completed my 85hr Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training with Sally Parkes, and 25hr Somatic Yoga and Mindfulness 'The Somatic Practices of the Heart' with Still Flowing Yoga.

In 2023 and 2024 I completed Level 1 and Level 2 Relax & Renew™ Restorative Yoga Training with Judith Hanson Lasater.

Early in 2024 I also completed the Embody & Flow CPD with Calli Popham, which has fundamentally informed how I now teach an embodied approach to yoga, getting to know ourselves from the inside out.

Yoga for me is about getting to know yourself, and in my classes I use the poses, mudras and breathing techniques to help you create that connection with yourself and slow down. I teach from what I feel in my own body, and am inspired by Mother Earth. I hope you find my classes to be gentle, safe places for you to explore your body, feel nourished, and find peace in a busy world.
